In this context, Data Riders positions itself as a pioneer, developing innovative solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically tailored to the needs of the mining industry. Three recent projects illustrate this pragmatic and technological approach: the GISTM.ai platform, the Intelligent Agent for Water Balance and Management, and a Simulator for Autonomous Vehicles in Mining Environments.

GISTM.ai Project: Advanced Risk Management and Compliance

GISTM.ai is an innovative platform developed by Data Riders that applies artificial intelligence to ensure compliance with the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM), especially aligned with Principle 11, which emphasizes communication, continuous learning, and early problem identification. The system collects and processes large volumes of operational and technical data in real time, enabling predictive and dynamic management of risks associated with dams and geotechnical structures. This results in significant anticipation of potential failures, enabling immediate preventive actions grounded in robust data, ensuring strict compliance with international and local requirements.

Furthermore, the platform promotes integrated knowledge management, facilitating personalized and continuous training that reinforces a safety-oriented organizational culture based on learning and continuous improvement. The practical result is a safer, auditable operation aligned with global standards, with a significant reduction in incidents and an operational environment where all stakeholders trust the robustness and transparency of technical decisions.

Intelligent Agent for Water Balance and Water Management Support

In another emblematic project, Data Riders developed a dedicated artificial intelligence agent for water management, capable of performing advanced analyses of operational water balances and offering direct support for strategic decision-making in water management. Integrated with the international MCA Water Accounting Framework, this intelligent agent automatically captures field data such as dam levels, inflows and outflows, groundwater and surface water intake, as well as climatic and operational data.

Simulator for Autonomous Vehicles in Mining Environments

Aiming at operational innovation, Data Riders also implemented an advanced simulator for autonomous vehicles, specifically focused on open-pit mining environments. This simulator uses advanced artificial intelligence techniques and computational modeling to create ultra-realistic virtual environments (digital twins), allowing the simulation of complex operational scenarios of material transportation and movement without exposing workers and real equipment to risk.

Within this simulated environment, AI algorithms evaluate different traffic configurations, operational policies, emergency situations, and environmental conditions.
